Lean to be Green
New Thinking is going to required if we are going to be able to eliminate the 35% of GHG from the building industry that is causing Climate Change and threatening our way of life and many species.
Based upon a book called Broken Buildings Busted Budgets there is a minimum of 10% waste in the way we design and build projects.
Would that new NEW THINKING be that we can eliminate enough waste in the design and construction of buildings to achieve Net 0 energy use, with Net 0 change in project cost (Net 0-0)?
This type of thinking is required if we are ever going to achieve a sustainable building industry and fix an industry that contributes 40% of all greenhouse gas emissions.
