EcoSmart wanted to demonstrate that high performance homes are economically viable
so we built a duplex. One side targeting 60% less energy, the other Net Zero Energy.
The Economics for the 60% side are slightly better BUT with our current situation of needing to address climate change we would recommend going double wall construction and PV panels to get as close to Net 0.
